Ministry of Finances of Colombia.
The Ministry of Finances of Colombia found that its transparency portal was not intuitive and did not generate much traffic. We established with them a long term relationship, to manage navigability studies, design new user experience (UX) and user interface (UI), and develop a platform that will enable users to obtain useful information, easy to understand and to read.
Foonkie Monkey designed and developed the web solution for the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit of Colombia. We introduced a new method to navigate, and we designed the look and feel. Finally, we implemented all integration logic with Microsoft .Net technologies. The site is web responsive, and the design is optimum for mobile devices.
The process to succeed
UI / UX Design
Creation of all design components. It includes the Art direction, wireframes, mockups, clickable prototypes (Invision or Marvel), and User Interface Design for web apps, mobile apps, and administrative consoles.
Software Development
Nearshore Software development team in the same client time zone. Includes architect, frontend developers, middleware developers, Product Owner, and Scrum Master.
QA and testing
Automated and Manual QA and testing procedures working with platforms as Katalon and App Center to accomplish all functional and non-functional requirements.

We created the user experience and user interface for the mobile app, web app, and Administrative console aligned with the client’s expectations, best practices, and preferences.

The technologies decided to work were Windows Azure, Bootstrap, and Microsoft .Net, which gave the product a great equilibrium between an excellent look and feel, and a great functional and non-functional display.

The Scrum methodology is our preference. A scrum master handles the development internally, and a Product Owner is involved to guarantee constant communication and potentialize the product as much as possible. We work with Azure DevOps (DevOps platforms), to transparently track the progress to every stakeholder.
We implement Manual and Automatic QA and testing procedures for functional and non-functional requirements. We work with Postman, Selenium, and Azure DevOps to report any issues, errors, or considerations
