Young and Rubicam, our partner, wanted to empower people to help to denounce child labor exploitation.
Kid Rescue is an easy way to collaborate to minimize kid labor exploitation predicament. For example, Colombia has more than one million and six hundred children who do not study, that happens because they are working in the streets. With the help of this platform, it was possible to reduce the cases of this issue.
The solution helps to locate the exploitation case, take a picture if it is possible, and add the information that the users may have access to. That information goes to a web dashboard, where state agents analyze and locate the children at risk to further rescue.
Our nearshore Software development team designed the architecture following the scalability, arts, and client requirements, looking for the best performance to the web app and administrative console.
The technologies decided to work were Windows Azure, Xcode, Android studio, and Microsoft .Net, which gave the product a great equilibrium between an excellent look and feel, and a great functional and non-functional display.
The Scrum methodology is our preference. A scrum master handles the development internally, and a Product Owner is involved to guarantee constant communication and potentialize the product as much as possible. We work with Azure DevOps (DevOps platforms), to transparently track the progress to every stakeholder.
We implement Manual and Automatic QA and testing procedures for functional and non-functional requirements. We work with Postman, Selenium, and Azure DevOps to report any issues, errors, or considerations.
